Hi We do read the Forum but as you say not a lot of people post anything - even though they (The Members) asked for the facility to be provided.
As you know there would be a bit of ongoing maintenance required to maintain membership details on this medium as the Forum is provided by a third party.
The main website is driven from the membership database directly and it would actually be easier to maintain a members only area on there (anybody got a forum package in PHP?).
There are pictures on the site - you just have to look in the right places - have a look at some of the sub articles on the individual repeater pages - eg CS
Suggestions can be sent by e-mail as well - admin@csfmg.com - or on here.

Have you had a look at the new Ofcom replacement for the BR68 due to be introduced in October?
Some of the points you raised regarding the content on Air (with respect to things for sale etc) have completly differnt wording in the new proposed document.
In any case - even with the current regs - the meaning of "advertising" is IMHO interpreted incorrectly by many UK amateurs - there is nothing to stop you saying you are sitting outside Asda or looking at things for sale on E-Bay - mentioning a name does not constitute advertising if you take the dictionary meaning of the word

hi just wondering if there is any news with regards gb3ff as this seems to be a none talking point over here in fife alot of talk about new sites but nothing happening with regards letting anyone know Hi There Still ongoing I'm afraid - we have looked at or had discussions with the owners of several suitable sites but no decision has yet been made. Until we have a firm offer of a site we cant process the paperwork for the licence change - so we are still several months away from re-activating FF. The FF electronics are currently on-Air as GB3CS so they are all ready and waiting for a suitable location. If anybody can give us a firm lead on a definite affordable site drop us a note.
